Amino Friends
Amino is an app that consists of user-built communities based on interests. I was brought on to come up with mascots that can represent the vibrant communities that live on the app.

Concept
Early concept sketches. The characters are based on speech bubble shapes as a nod to the idea that communication and expression are central tenets of the app.
Character Lineup
Final designs for the cast of characters, dubbed “Amino Friends”. Each mascot represents a subset of core interests on the app and were used in subsequent brand and marketing campaigns.
